ARRANGEMENT
Wilderness-Tours organizes independent tours, guided tours and courses in partnership with local tour operators and other organizers.

REGISTRATION
Registration is binding on the customer when the customer has given verbal or written notification to Wilderness-Tours that they wish to make a booking. Registration is binding on Wilderness-Tours when the deposit or the payment determined by Wilderness-Tours has been received on time and in accordance with the invoice. By registering, the customer confirms at the same time that they have accepted the conditions of travel notified in this document and/or on www.wilderness-Tours.com and/or the program and price lists received by mail, fax or e-mail. Furthermore, it is expected that the customer is familiar with the general and publicly available information relating to climate conditions in their chosen travel destination at the chosen time.

DEPOSIT
Unless stated to the contrary on the invoice, upon registration for a trip, a deposit of 25% of the price for the trip, excluding air transportation if applicable, is payable. If registration takes place less than 60 days before departure, the whole cost of the trip is payable upon registration.

TRANSPORTATION BY AIR AND BOAT
Transportation is not normally included. The customer is responsible for arranging their own transportation. Wilderness-Tours can help the customer arrange transportation by air or train and the cost of this will be invoiced upon registration. Wilderness-Tours will invoice the customer for the estimated price of the ticket at the time Wilderness-Tours deems it appropriate to book it. If the cost of the ticket exceeds the invoiced estimate at the time of registration by more than 20%, Wilderness-Tours will contact the customer to obtain their acceptance of the increased cost. If the customer does not wish to accept this price increase, he/she has the right to cancel the trip and ask for a refund of the full amount, including the deposit.
For tickets purchased by Wilderness-Tours on behalf of the customer, the individual company's/companies' terms and conditions relating to cancellation, change of booking etc. are applicable. Wilderness-Tours accepts no responsibility for transportation and acts solely as an intermediary between the transport provider and the customer.

FINAL PAYMENT
The outstanding amount must be paid no later than 60 days before the day of departure unless indicated otherwise on the invoice.

COST OF THE TRIP
The basic cost of a trip includes services that will be specified for each individual travel destination.
LOCAL TAXES AND CHARGES All taxes and charges that may or must be charged from the customer's home country are included in the price of the trip. However, in many countries there may be airport or tourist taxes that must be paid locally in cash. The individual countries have complete discretion over the changing or introduction of new taxes and charges at extremely short notice or without any notice at all. The customer has no right to claim a refund of any such taxes and charges.

AGREEMENTS ON SPECIFIC SERVICES
All agreements relating to specific services - for instance, transfers, special agreements etc. must appear in the travel documentation in order to be valid. If the customer has signed up to one or more bonus schemes etc., Wilderness-Tours accepts no responsibility for the extent to which any bonus points accrued are registered on the customer's bonus account/s.

CHANGES MADE BY THE CUSTOMER
Unless indicated to the contrary, the following applies: For any changes, insofar as they can be accommodated by Wilderness-Tours made more than 60 days before departure, a service charge of DKK 600 per person is payable. Any changes made after this date will be regarded as a cancellation and a new booking. If the changes requested cannot be accommodated, Wilderness-Tours cannot be held responsible for any losses incurred by the customer.

CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER
Unless indicated to the contrary, the following applies:
If the customer cancels more than 120 days before departure, a charge of 30% of the total cost of the trip, excluding the cost of any transportation, is payable. However, the minimum fee payable is DKK 1,000 per person.
If the customer cancels between 120-60 days before departure, a charge of 50% of the total cost of the trip, excluding the cost of any air transportation, is payable.
If the customer cancels between 60-30 days before departure, a charge of 75% of the total cost of the trip, excluding any air transportation, is payable.
If the customer cancels less than 30 days before departure the customer is not entitled to any reimbursement. If a flight/train ticket is included in the arrangement, it is not possible to refund this cost if the ticket has already been issued at the time of cancellation. In this case, the ticket is the property of the customer, regardless of whether or not the customer cancels the rest of the arrangement.

CANCELLATION INSURANCE
The customer is responsible for taking out their own sickness cancellation insurance through a travel insurance company such as Gouda or Europæiske.
Such policies cover the customer's costs in the event of cancellation if participation in the trip is made impossible or hindered significantly on the grounds of death or serious illness/injury requiring admission to hospital, best ordered by a doctor or comparable cases relating to the customer him/herself, his/her spouse/co-habitué, parents, parents-in-law, children, grandchildren, siblings, grandparents, brother/sister-in-law or travel companion.
The customer is responsible for paying their own costs in the event of sickness, admission to hospital etc. during the trip. Therefore, it is recommended that the customer takes out travel insurance to cover these and other costs in the event of an accident or death, treatment for illness, transportation home and loss or damage to baggage.

THE CUSTOMER'S OBLIGATIONS
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that they have a valid passport and visa and have obtained any vaccinations required for completion of the trip. The name on the flight ticket must always agree with the name on the traveler's passport. . Since, more often than not, it is not possible to change names on flight tickets after registration and any discrepancy between the name on a flight ticket and the name on a passport can lead to the passenger not being allowed to check-in for the flight, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the first names and surnames of all participants notified upon registration are correct and agree with all first names and surnames on the participants' passports. Similarly, immediately upon receipt of the travel documentation, it is the customer's responsibility to check that these agree with the names on the booking and that all first names and surnames on the tickets and other travel documents are correct and in agreement with one another. Wilderness-Tours accepts no responsibility for the consequences of incorrect or incomplete information being provided.

THE CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITIES
The customer takes full responsibility for travelling into the wilderness and their own conduct whilst there. Wilderness-Tours cannot be held responsible for the customer's conduct. The customer is responsible for his/her own safety throughout the entire trip.

RECONFIRMATION
Some flight tickets must be reconfirmed with the airline or its agent within 72 hours of commencement of the return journey or if a trip is to be interrupted for more than 72 hours prior to travelling on to another destination. This also applies even if the customer has a definite reservation. We recommend that the customer reconfirms his/her flight ticket with the airline in question.

DEPARTURE AND CHECK-IN TIMES
As departure and arrival times may be changed after tickets have been issued, it is recommended that the customer inquires about the latest check-in and departure times as soon as they arrive at the specified airport or upon reconfirmation at the latest - cf. the above. Please note that all check-in formalities must be completed no later than the time notified and/or the time indicated in the travel documents.

SPECIAL NOTICE ON FLIGHT TICKETS
If the customer lets Wilderness-Tours arrange air transportation, his/her attention is drawn to the fact that airline tickets, unless it is indicated to the contrary, often cannot be altered and/or refunded. Wilderness-Tours acts solely in the capacity of intermediary for the transportation company/companies involved in the trip and such companies alone are responsible for complete and correct fulfillment of the transportation agreement. Consequently, Wilderness-Tours accepts no responsibility for any costs resulting from the transportation company's/companies' non-compliance with the transportation agreement.

FLIGHT TIMES IN THE ITINERARY AND ON TICKETS
Times indicated on tickets and in the itinerary are always local times. Always check the departure times on any travel documents you are sent. The customer must contact Wilderness-Tours immediately if times differ from those indicated on the original booking/confirmation so that Wilderness-Tours has a chance to rectify any errors in good time before departure.

PASSPORT, VISA AND VACCINATIONS
Information on conditions relating to passports, visas, health requirements including vaccination requirements etc. that must be complied with in order for the customer to make the trip will be notified to the customer upon entering the agreement. Wilderness-Tours information applies to travelers holding a Danish or Swedish passport. If the traveler does not possess a Danish or a Swedish passport, it is the customer's own responsibility to obtain information about any necessary formalities relating to their trip from their own country's embassy/consulate or similar authority. Wilderness-Tours accepts no responsibility for the consequences of the customer obtaining incorrect or insufficient information. Please note that passengers in transit often require a visa. When travelling outside the countries of the EU, passports normally must be valid for 6 months following arrival home.

TRANSFER OF THE TRIP
Due to rules applying to services provided by sub-suppliers used by Wilderness-Tours it is not necessarily possible to transfer the trip to another person. If it is possible to transfer the trip to another person, Wilderness-Tours will arrange this upon payment of a supplementary fee.

FAILURE TO APPEAR, UNUSED SERVICES ETC
If the customer has not cancelled the trip and/or does not turn up at the time and place indicated for the outward or return journey, or the customer is unable to commence or complete the trip as a result of missing travel documentation, including flight tickets, vouchers, a valid passport, necessary visa, vaccination certificates etc. Wilderness-Toursis entitled to charge the total cost of the trip. Should the customer fail to appear for transportation at the time/place indicated or in any other way fails to use the services that have been booked, they are not entitled to claim any reimbursement for the unused services.

CLAIMS MADE DURING THE TRIP
Any claims arising during the course of the trip must be made to the relevant airline company, Wilderness-Tours representative or partner on the spot within a reasonable period of time of the customer discovering the problem so that a solution can be found immediately and with as little inconvenience to the customer as possible. The customer must ensure that he/she has proof to substantiate their claim if the problem cannot be rectified on the spot and if the customer wishes to raise a claim for compensation against Wilderness-Tours at a later date. Failure to make a claim on time and a lack of proof will often result in the customer foregoing the right to claim compensation at a later date. Claims relating to faults/ shortcomings that cannot be resolved on the spot must be in the hands of Wilderness-Tours within a reasonable period of time following completion of the trip. If the claim cannot be resolved to the customer's satisfaction, the customer can submit it to the Danish Travel Industry Complaints Council (Rejseankenævnet) at www.rejseankenaevnet.dk.
Wilderness-Tours accepts no responsibility for agreements/promises that have been entered into between a travel agent and the customer, without Wilderness-Tours knowledge, if the trip or part of the trip has been purchased from a travel agent other than Wilderness-Tours. Wilderness-Tours accepts no responsibility for any changes, delays etc. resulting from a breach of agreement, strikes, weather or other conditions over which Wilderness-Tours has no control. Wilderness-Tours will not, under any circumstances, accept responsibility for baggage that has been stolen, partially or completely destroyed or is lost or goes missing in any other way.

CHANGES/ CANCELLATIONS MADE BY THE ORGANISER
Wilderness-Tours reserves the right to make any changes necessitated by lack of/cancelled connections or for other reasons. If the customer subsequently does not wish to participate in the trip, the amount paid will be refunded. However, the customer cannot make any further claims in relation to the aborted trip. Wilderness-Tours can cancel a planned trip with 20 days' notice. If Wilderness-Tours is unable to offer a suitable substitute trip, the amount paid will be refunded. However, the customer cannot raise any further claim for compensation in respect of the cancelled trip.

PRICE CHANGES AFTER CONCLUSION OF THE AGREEMENT
Upon notifying the customer, Wilderness-Tours reserves the right to change the price of a trip as a result of changes in transportation costs - including fuel costs, taxes, duties or other fees for specific services - including airport charges, port charges, landing charges, take-off charges and currency fluctuations, purchase prices and tariffs that are used for calculating the cost of the trip. The customer will be notified of any change in price as soon as possible and no later than 20 days before departure. If a price increase exceeds 10% of the cost of the trip at the time of booking, the customer can, without unnecessary delay, contact Wilderness-Tours in writing to cancel the trip and ask for a refund of any monies paid. If the prices are changed in a downward direction after the trip has been booked, the customer is not entitled to ask for a price reduction.

With regards to liability for checked-in luggage, reference should be made to the terms and conditions of the airline in question.
